My stay in Gor
After a (to) short stay in Cenascuras I descended and ascended the valley of the Rio Gor. I had to in order to get to the other side of the Autovia A-92N, and then to Gor.
As I did not find a suitable wildcampspot I ended up in a hotel. And that was a bit "special" since it's owner is a real spanjard and a real blabla-person. Anyway ...
There turned out to be two cafes in Gor. The one that is on google maps (Bar Mora) was not open (typically I think) and the one that is not at google maps (Bar Hogar) is open every day of the week. And that one was exactly my style, and it's owner even speaks english, yeah !!! I felt at home right away haha.
Cafe Hogar has a nice and shady terrass, and next to it is a 7-pipes well, the "Fuente de los 7 caños y lavaderos".

Streetnamepanels, aren't they nice ?!
Yes they are, but that is just by "accident", Spanjards don't really mind about quality, it is as it is ...
Streetart, type 1, since 400+ years and ongoing ...
Streetart, type 2, and
Streetart, type 3. I forgot to inform what Gor has to do with bicicletas. Except for those stationary (small) bicis there are no signs of cyclingactivities anywhere here. But it looks nice anyway.
The town, some impressions.

My room, I got an upgrade which I hadn't asked for and it caused a lot of arguing and confusion. I had to enter and leave through that backdoor and that was very steep, and without any lighting. Besides that that backroad is full of cat-shit and -urine. The kitchencabinet can't be closed since that gasbottle doesn't fit in. And the window can't be opened since it is blocked by the crane. Great engineering ...
Lateron I noticed that the gasburner was not functioning as it should. The gas burned yellow instead of blue which means oxygen is getting into the gassystem somewhere. That makes the gas being burned only partly and soot is formed ...
But far more worse was that After I had payed for two extra nights the owner "informed" me that the next day six women (!!! !!!) would join me in this (my) appartment. So he first accepted my money and then changed the situation and overwhelmed me. I asked to return my money for one night immediately and told him I would leave the next morning, which I then did. The owner was very friendly that morning ...
So Sorry, but Bye Bye Gor, no longer Apartementos turisticos Plaza 11 ... Blabla Blablabla Blablablabla ...
